Can EcoBloc Inspect SMART be used for detention and infiltration?
Yes. A typical infiltration system uses a specified permeable geotextile; sealed detention normally requires an engineered impermeable membrane system and controlled discharge. The project engineer should approve the final system arrangement.
How can I estimate the number of modules?
For an initial estimate, multiply the required storage volume in cubic metres by 1,000, divide by 203 L of nominal usable storage per standard module and round up. Verify the final layout, accessories and net design capacity before specifying quantities.
Are CAD drawings and BIM files available?
Contact BARR for the available project drawings and file formats. GRAF also lists manufacturer drawings and regional BIM resources. Confirm the drawings relate to EcoBloc Inspect SMART (402500) and are appropriate for your project location.
Can it be installed below vehicle traffic areas?
It can be used in appropriately engineered traffic-load applications. Permissible loading, cover depth, groundwater conditions and construction-stage restrictions must be checked against current manufacturer instructions and the site's engineered design.
What documents are needed for an engineering submission?
