Warranty Policy

Please contact BARR Plastics for warranty evaluation. BARR Plastics is not responsible for product damage resulting from accident, misuse or abuse, improper installation, operational conditions which exceed product's capability or lack of reasonable care. Upon confirmation of defects and approval for a Return Authorization, BARR Plastics will repair or replace defective products without charge. No responsibility is assumed by BARR for any type of labour required to remove, return or otherwise, or any special, incidental or consequential damages as BARR has no control over how or where products are installed and used.

We strongly suggest that anyone intending to rely on any recommendation or to use any parts or material mentioned in this website, in any of our catalogs, or provided by any BARR representative, should satisfy themselves as to such suitability for their particular application and that all applicable safety and health standards are met.

Most product warranties for any defect are provided for 1 year from the date of invoice and are generally provided by the Manufacturer and facilitated by BARR. Please contact a BARR Customer Service Agent for any other specific Warranty Information.

The only reliable means for making a final selection of any product(s) is actual field testing under the conditions of intended use and this responsibility rests solely with the purchaser.

 

BARR Plastics Return Goods Policy

We understand that sometimes products need to be returned. Due to the nature of our business and the products we sell, BARR Plastics follows a strict return policy.

Return Period

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt.

  • Products returned after this period will not be accepted.

  • If a manufacturer’s return policy differs from ours, the manufacturer’s policy will take precedence.

Return Authorization

  • All returns require a Return Authorization Number (RA#) issued by our Customer Service team.

  • Contact us at sales@barrplastics.com or +1-866-790-6753 to request an RA#.

  • Products must be returned to the location specified by our team.

  • No returns will be accepted without a valid RA#.

Conditions for Returns

  • Products must be unused, in like-new/re-sellable condition, and in the original packaging.

  • A 25% restocking fee will apply.

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

  • The original shipping cost is non-refundable.

  • Refunds or exchanges will only be processed after the product is received and inspected.

  • If the return does not meet our requirements, the product will be shipped back to the customer at their expense, and no refund will be issued.

Exchanges

  • Exchanges for identical or alternative products may be possible.

  • Customers are responsible for any price difference between products.

Warranty Claims

  • If you believe your product has a manufacturer defect, take photos and contact us at sales@barrplastics.com or +1-866-790-6753.

  • Warranty claims must follow the manufacturer’s warranty terms and timeframes.

  • Customers are responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable warranty before making a claim.

Damaged Shipments

Inspect your shipment carefully upon delivery:

  1. Before signing the Proof of Delivery (POD):

    • Note any damage on the POD.

    • Take photos.

    • Contact BARR Plastics Customer Service while the driver is still present.

    • If damage is significant, you may refuse the shipment.

  2. After delivery:

    • If damage is found after delivery, take photos and contact us within 5 business days.

    • Damage claims after this period may be denied.

Important:

  • Superficial marks, scuffs, or dirt that occur during shipping and do not affect product performance are not considered damage and are not covered under damage claims.

  • By signing the POD without noting damage, you confirm that the product was received in acceptable condition. If you use your own shipping carrier, you are responsible for filing any damage claims directly with them.

Refund Processing

  • Refunds are issued only after all requirements in this policy are met.

  • In most cases, manufacturers will not accept returns once an order has shipped.

Manufacturer’s Return Policy

1.

Items returned for repair will not be accepted without prior approval and a Return Authorization Number (RAN).

2.

Defective warranty items will be replaced or repaired at manufacturer's option on a no charge basis. Customer is responsible for return of product for inspection and if applicable BARR will pay for return to the Customer after a repair or replacement has been made.

3.

The customer will be charged for the appropriate parts, labour and freight charges for all non-warranty work.

4.

BARR or the manufacturer will not provide replacement parts at no charge while repairs are being made unless special arrangements can be made for emergency situations.

5.

A description of the application (media, temperature, pressure, etc. that item(s) were subjected to) and performance of the items must accompany the return. Please specify type of failure and exact location of failure. Photos of damage are required to authorize a return.

6.

Prior to returning, item(s) must be cleaned, neutralized and/or sanitized. Items which have not been cleaned and neutralized will not be inspected or repaired.
