The water suction hose is suitable for heavy duty, rugged applications where more economical PVC hoses will not stand up, such as in heavy construction, irrigation, mining, and dewatering. Its rubber construction provides excellent resistance to cutting, gouging, and weathering. It is not designed for food grade applications, high volume water transfer, pressure pumping water over a distance, or continuous heated applications such as glycol transfer. NL2120 has been traditionally classified as a 'suction hose', but it is also used for discharge where the hose must retain its shape.
