Horizontal Leg Transport Tanks & Accessories

Horizontal Leg Transport Tanks are most commonly used for transport of water, wastewater or other non-controlled liquids. Some sizes are available in standard and heavy duty models, each manufactured with UV inhibitors for long life durability. Choose the heavy duty models for rough service, heavier full time use or off-highway use.

All tanks have molded-in legs that provide some baffling to reduce some of the sloshing effect that happens in transport. See Baffle Balls-Liquid Surge Stabilizers for full anti-surge safety and truck wear & tear protection.

The standard white tanks are translucent for easy level viewing. Available with a wide variety of fittings, accessories and add-ons. BARR can design and produce complete skid-mounted liquid handling systems using these transport tanks, for such applications as brine de-icer spray systems, dust control units, multi-use wash, water transfer and fire fighting assemblies, etc.

Hold-down bands are hot-dipped galvanized or powder coated for added corrosion protection and provide secure fastening of the tank to the truck deck or skid. See table below.
