This pump is suitable for pumping dirty water containing particles up to 1-1/4" diameter. It is great for drainage applications or for transferring rainwater from a collection sump to a higher storage vessel. It is operated by a self-contained float switch (automatic model - part # ends with "A") or manual switch (no float switch model)installed by others.
The pump is manufactured with non-corrosive and rust proof metals, featuring a stainless steel shaft with no screws to corrode or vibrate loose. The ceramic shaft sleeve allows for a long life and sand resistance.
The energy-efficient, environmentally safe motor features built-in overload protection and is oil-free. Its perfect cooling allows the pump to be run even if partially submerged. Elbow with "0" ring can be hand tightened and provides superior sealing. The pump comes with a 16 ft. power cord.
